Indiana Arts Commission Grant Closes With Positive Outcomes

Whew! Lee Anna has just submitted the final documentation for the Indiana Arts Commission Individual Artist Program.

During the 2015 – 2016 school year, over 100 McCutcheon High School Choir students participated in presenting 3 different songs arranged by Lee Anna to an estimated audience of over 1000.

One of the songs, “I Want My Soldier Home” was composed by Lee Anna as well.

You can see all three performances here on the attached video (below)

“The Individual Artist Program grants up to $2,000 to help artists reach the next level.” Lee Anna said. “I was able to purchase a computer and software that allowed me to easily make these choral arrangements. The songs the students want to do are not always available in choral arrangements so the grant gave me the tools to make this happen.”

Lee Anna thanks the “wonderful Directors of McCutcheon High School Choirs and the students for supporting me in this endeavor.”

This activity made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency
